Meet our Speakers
Britni Karst…
…is a Midwest girl at heart, having been born in Indiana and raised in Ohio. She ventured west upon graduating from The Ohio State University, to pursue a career in Hollywood. With much difficulty and rejection, she found herself in search of worth, identity and value in alcohol, partying, relationships that were not life giving and material gain that only offered comfort to her deep depression and anxiety for but a moment.
Britni had been raised in Church and from her perspective done all the “right” things and avoided all the “bad” things like promiscuous sex and hard drugs, but she found herself empty and void of any meaning and worth. No matter what she did, she still thought she was nothing and worthless. She knew that if she was going to get better and become more whole and healthy, she needed help.
Britni started therapy because she wanted to understand how her past was now keeping her hostage in her present. She learned how her home life had effected her and how her self-image was one of worthlessness and brokenness. In therapy, Britni was reminded of God’s love for her and for the first time, she was able to receive His unconditional love. She realized God sees her as a treasure, more precious than rubies and she started to see herself through His eyes, beautiful. It was the beginning for Britni to truly love herself, the good, the bad, bruises and scars. She learned to not only accept whom she was, but to love and thrive as that person, unique, precious and valuable.
Britni now is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee, at La Vie Counseling Center in Pasadena, California under the supervision of Joanne Weidman,LMFT #40893. She works with adolescent girls, and adults around issues of depression, anxiety, body image, and identity formation and worth.
Britni is no longer pursuing a career in entertainment and wants to bring advocacy and awareness to the arts concerning mental health and psychological wellbeing.

Rachel Corrington
Compassionate, loving, outgoing are just some words that describe Rachel Joy Corrington. Her heart for people is evident in her day to day life. Her career as a Hair Stylist came at such a young age: now a decade later she’s a celebrity Hair Stylist, and Make-up Artist, in the Los Angeles.
Born in San Diego and raised in Murrieta California she grew up with her two younger siblings, and parents that raised them in a christian household. Rachel was a Cross Country and track star. Her talent placed her in top varsity all through high school, and she won state with her team 2003. She later signed with San Jose State.
At the young age of 14, her Mother Linda Joy was diagnosed with Leukemia; throughout her Mom’s treatment her family and community felt and saw the miracle of God’s healing hand.
Rachel has faced serious life changes through her early 20’s; she knows the feelings of loss, and tribulation. Rachel truly believes that it has shaped her in a beautiful way because God redeemed all that was lost. ‘For nothing is impossible with God’ she says.
Leslie Gant
TV Host. Producer. Speaker. Writer. Dreamer. Doer. Those are just a few words one might use to describe Leslie Gant. But what she’s best known for is her effervescent spirit and zest for life. And that’s what she brings to the set, stage, and screen. Born and raised in Washington State, Leslie cultivated a passion for visual storytelling at a young age. In fact, her favorite childhood pastime was reporting stories LIVE from her backyard on her parent’s VHS camcorder. Over the years as her skills, creativity, and curiosity evolved (along with technology thank God!) so too did her zeal for making media that matters.
Following her internship at Good Morning America in New York City, Leslie moved to Los Angeles to begin her career in television. Nearly a decade later, she has produced for several nationally syndicated TV shows and award-winning documentary films. Her interview subjects have ranged from heroes and icons to innovators and influencers from NASA, the United Nations, Disney, DreamWorks, Mattel, Broadway, Riverdance, Cirque du Soleil, the LA Kings, LA Galaxy, and the Olympics.
Leslie’s favorite stories to capture are ordinary people living extraordinary lives across the U.S. and around the world. To date, she’s traveled to 30+ countries including Cuba, Brazil, Switzerland, South Africa, Tanzania, India, Ireland, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan. In addition to her roles in TV / film production, Leslie is a faithful voice of hope, and speaks candidly about overcoming obstacles. By age 31, she has survived a near-death accident, a mild-traumatic brain injury, and conquered a vicious decade-long eating disorder. Today, she is an ambassador and advocate for health, and living a life of courage, freedom, and JOY. Leslie holds a degree in Visual Communications and International Studies from American University in Washington, D.C. and enjoys biking, camping, kayaking, and other outdoor adventures with her husband in Los Angeles, CA.
